Ejabberd has a version for Windows. Then your client need to install some jabber clients such as psi. If you want your clients use a browser to get chatting. You need a web server and jwchat. You can pick up Apache for Windows. If you need SSL, that will kill you, you need Openssl and MS Visual Studio to compile the source. There is a short cut: You can install a web server based on Erlang the name is Yaws. There is a combined package called YawsPack on this site. All you have to do is to mix the directories and put files together. But I only get it work with local. I failed to get it work from remote. Yaws' SSL is not that hard compared to Apache SSL. Also you can try Microsoft shit which I never tried. If you badly need SSL on Windows, I can tell you have to install Squid on Windows. Squid is proxy for web server. You do not need SSL on web server if you want to use Squid with SSL.
Thu, 21 Sep 2006 17:21:32 +0000 breakevilaxis comment 2296 at https://www.ejabberd.im windows platform https://www.ejabberd.im/node/1022#comment-2295
In this connection please write what are all requirements necessary apache2triad jwchat erlang etc. with open ssl plese tell one by one with particular configuration.
