If you are building from source, you need to pass --enable-mysql to configure script. This is shown in ejabberd documentation: Installing ejabberd from Source Code.

Hi Lucifer, try adding mysql dependency which is {p1_mysql, ".*", {git, "https://github.com/processone/mysql"}} in reber.config.script file, to the Deps list.
It should work.
