And the configuration of the module doesn't allow to break this :)</p> <p>Check the ejabberd log files (ejabberd.log and sasl.log), both when you add new groups and when you restart ejabberd. Maybe they show some interesting error messages.</p> <p>If that doesn't help, you could try to add some ACL or Access rules using the WebAdmin, and check if those rules exist after a restart.</p> <p>The data of mod_shared_roster is stored in the files sr_group.DCD and sr_user.DCD.
