Their clients are configured to only connect to their server and only communicate in their proprietary language.</p> <p>Jabber, on the other hand, is an open standard that many servers speak. Lots of clients use Jabber and there are lots of servers to connect to.</p> <p>So no, this isn't possible. MSN will not be able to connect to your server, nor will it be able to understand what your server is telling it.</p> <p>I recommend using a client like pidgin, <noindex><a href="http://www.pidgin.im/" title="http://www.pidgin.im/" rel="nofollow" >http://www.pidgin.im/</a></noindex> .
