Once again: this is a feature of client, not server. See http://xmpp.org/extensions/xep-0045.html#continue.
If you need this feature and you don't want to use Gajim, contact the developers of your favorite jabber client. ejabberd is *not* responsible for this feature.

yes, I'm talking about jabber, in particular, I want ejabberd server to support this feature.

Last version of Gajim supports such feature.
