In any case, there isn't a long running and well accepted word that some OS is the best for running ejabberd. Also remember that ejabberd runs on top of Erlang/OTP, not directly on top of the machine kernel.</p> <p>To reduce consumption resources, you surely want to have some kind of <noindex><a href="/kernel-poll" rel="nofollow" >kernel poll support</a></noindex>.
