Remark that you installed an older version it seems; maybe you should updated your ports? ;-)

Useful command do find maybe more ejabberd files:

find / | grep ejabberd

I believe I have found it:

/usr/local/lib/erlang/lib/ejabberd-0.7.5

Now I have to figure out how to add components custom components into ejabberd.

(I think I started this thread in the wrong place; can anybody move this thread into the "ejabberd configuration" section?)
