ejabberd/Erlang can't find any DNS server to query.

In my machine, ejabberd gets several:

$ ejabberdctl start
$ ejabberdctl debug
(ejabberd@localhost)1> inet_db:res_option(nameserver).
[{{127,0,0,1},53},
 {{192,168,2,240},53},
 {{192,168,2,241},53}]

Or with simple erlang:

$ erl -kernel inetrc \"/etc/ejabberd/inetrc\"
1> inet_db:res_option(nameserver).
[{{127,0,0,1},53},
 {{192,168,2,240},53},
 {{192,168,2,241},53}]

You should investigate if you have that inetrc file, if it's readable by ejabberd,...
