External authentication script

You can configure ejabberd to use a external script to authenticate:

 % For authentification via external script use the following:
{auth_method, external}.
{extauth_program, "/path/to/authentification/script"}.

There was a lot of messages regarding this on the ejabberd mailing list last months.
