<p>yeah I considered using a very long rfilter to get the specific groups. I'm not using AD so I don't really follow a lot of number two.</p>
<p>So there's no way to manipulate the displayed group name on the fly?</p>

<p>To filter groups, you may use one of these approaches:<br />
1. Alter the roster filter (ldap_rfilter) to exclude/include only specific groups<br />
2. Use a special AD group that will contain those groups you want in shared roster (this way you may have a GUI to manage SR groups, too: e.g. in AD, use AD Users and Computers). Depending on your LDAP schema, this may require using the <noindex><a href="https://support.process-one.net/browse/EJAB-1480" rel="nofollow" >modified msrl</a></noindex>.</p>
<p>You cannot rename groups.</p>
