ejabberd - Comments for "Intranet jabber server" https://www.ejabberd.im/node/540 en The second example in https://www.ejabberd.im/node/540#comment-1167
The second example in section <noindex>A.12 mod_register</noindex> is what you need. You only need to decide if you want to disable all In-Band Registration functionality, or only registration. Afterwards, you will need e.g. the web interface are the command line tool ejabberdctl to register new users (and delete accounts, and change passwords of users).

Do not hesitate to provide feedback if you believe something is not clear enough or if something can be improved in that section. Also all other feedback is welcome of course. :-)

--
sander
Fri, 16 Dec 2005 23:08:52 +0000 sander comment 1167 at https://www.ejabberd.im ok but... https://www.ejabberd.im/node/540#comment-1166
disable , anonymouse registering thats what i ment , so only us admins can register ppl
Fri, 16 Dec 2005 22:31:51 +0000 cflores comment 1166 at https://www.ejabberd.im ok but... https://www.ejabberd.im/node/540#comment-1165
How can i make it so that it disables registration , so they have to ask the admin before registering and account , f , like if theres a new employee we register him , or if someone else needs a second account in the jabber server??
Fri, 16 Dec 2005 22:20:57 +0000 cflores comment 1165 at https://www.ejabberd.im limit access to internal intranet Lan users with option ip https://www.ejabberd.im/node/540#comment-1159
As you can see in section <noindex>3.1.5 Listened Sockets</noindex>, all modules support the option 'ip'. What this option does, is also described in that section.

You can read a real-life example using the 'ip' option in section <noindex>3.3.1 Web Interface</noindex>, example 2.

--
sander
Fri, 16 Dec 2005 01:08:50 +0000 sander comment 1159 at https://www.ejabberd.im
