ejabberd - Comments for "Add contacts and GoogleTalk"

Have you checked your firewall so that GoogleTalk can connect back to your server?
Apperently GoogleTalk "phone backs" to your server. So you need to allow GoogleTalk this.

You are probably experiencing a known problem. There's a solution, try it and tell us if it works or not: Google Talk and ejabberd.

I just upgraded my ejabberd from 0.9.3 to 1.0.0 so that I could connect to GoogleTalk, but I haven't been able to connect at all.

I can't see anything odd in the logs, although it seems to create an s2s connection to the gmail.com server and then quit immediately. I do have s2s encryption enabled.

This is what I see:
