He is building together with a Spanish guy support for things like Jingle, SIP, Zoep, amongsti others. Maybe your company can pay him to also add support for video?

--
sander
Wed, 15 Feb 2006 15:14:14 +0000 sander comment 1379 at https://www.ejabberd.im I going to probe it https://www.ejabberd.im/node/656#comment-1377
Thanks George, i goind to download and probe ichat right now.
I keep you inform of any progress.

Ones again, Thanks for the help
Wed, 15 Feb 2006 13:33:58 +0000 hdzarenas comment 1377 at https://www.ejabberd.im Yes, with iChat https://www.ejabberd.im/node/656#comment-1376
I'm using ejabberd 1.0.0 as a replacement for Apple's iChat server (jabberd 1.4) and have got it working with c2s using Apple's iChat client (available only for Macs). Audio and Video work just fine.

I'm expecting s2s to work also, but have not done that yet.

As far as I know, there are some Windows options that are close to doing A/V:

* Trillian (Pro/pay version) - but people on the forums say it doesn't work

* Version 5.9 of AOL IM for Windows

* TIPIC/IM (if you compile it yourself with the H.264 ffmpeg libs)

Hopefully, either Apple or Google will provide a Windows XMPP A/V client soon.

George
Wed, 15 Feb 2006 12:15:36 +0000 geo comment 1376 at https://www.ejabberd.im
