Hi,
I changed my hostname. I re-installed ejabberd from the FreeBSD port. It is 1.1.1. I used the same starter script.
erl -pa /var/lib/ejabberd/ebin -sname ejabberd -s ejabberd -ejabberd config \"/usr/local/etc/ejabberd/ejabberd.cfg\" log_path \"/var/log/ejabberd/ejabberd.log\" -sasl sasl_error_logger \{file,\"/var/log/ejabberd/sasl.log\"} -mnesia dir \"/var/lib/ejabberd/spool\" -detached
After this I can see a process running but when I netstat -na |grep LIST, nothing listening on those ports.
When I type hostname it shows breakevilaxis.org.
The following files are my hosts file, rc.conf file, the sasl.log file in /var/log/ejabberd and the ejabberd.cfg in /usr/local/etc/ejabberd/
Some one please help me out. I can use sed to make a script to make this job easier for other people.
