I've set up ejabberd to run with MS SQL using ODBC on Windows Server 2003 R2. The SQL server is running on a seperate PC, and everytime that PC is restarted or the link between the two is dropped and reconnected, user authentication starts failing until the ejabberd service is restarted.
It seems that ejabberd does not pick up that the odbc link hasd been broken and does not reconnect. Does anybody have any ideas on this? We have another database that we're pulling users from using triggers, so we need a reliable way of keeping ejabberd and our user database synchronised.
