Last week was very tuff for us. We are two member Team who were struggling for an event which includes setting up robust Server and client.We tried working with Ejabberd and it was successfully installed.
But Muckl was something we struggled a lot for.So, Finally we went for Openfire..A Superb Tool which supported around 1000+ users with no Issue.
The Server was fine and we installed SparkWeb as web Client as it was managerial strict to go for Web Client(not any tool). But What we dislike is Sparkweb Flash requirement. Lots of chat users faced issue as some were on Unix / Linux too.Other than that these were basic requirement aside:
1. Chat session could be saved
2. Moderator could reject users creating rooms themselves.
3. No Flash / Java Applet for client
4.Single Page, Multi-Tab, Ajax’d Web Interface with support for IE6, IE7, IE8 and Firefox 3.0 or Above
5.Ability to integrate Google Analytics on individual page headers
Any Idea what client can prove these facility?
