I am using external authentication to make ejabberd validate and update users and passwords against the email database. I have a few virtual domains in mail and I would like to have the same virtual domains in ejabberd.
Is there a way to tell ejabberd not to validate the virtual server or to query the virtual server list from an external program?
This is the only thing I miss for integrating a complete communications suit: email and instant messaging with virtual domains and users.
It would be greet, too, to add user aliasing to the external authentication, for allowing a user to receive IMs directed to their alias.
