Hi there:
i install ejabberd-2.1.4 from binary. then work fine ... ejabberdctl start ... work fine
BUT ...
Boot start not work. Following the steps of guide:
adduser ejabberd
Copy by mc .. ejabberd.init to /etc/init.d as ejabberd
Chown by mc of file ejabberd to ejabberd user and group
then try ./ejabberd start ... "Starting .." remaing forever at screen and service never start ... then restart to try and service never start ...
I thing is some about permissions but try many ways that not work.
some help??
