Helpdesk/online help module for ejabberd ?

Hi,

I was wondering. I can see that some of companies have helpdesk or online help sorted out by Jabber. They have like a one JID for example helpdesk@domain.com. I presume on the end you have got like logged agents like agent1, agent2... etc. All of them are linked to helpdesk somehow so whoever is free is getting a help call from the user. How is that done ? Anyone has got any ideas ? Or is that possible it's just custom stuff written by a freelancer ?
