Hello everybody.
I'm new here and in ejabberd instalation/configuration.
My server is runnng on Gentoo hardened and I've got few questions/asks.
Could anyone give me clues or step list how to build ejabberd from scrach with mysql, mod_logdb and jorge and external auth?
I've tried almost everything but always something goes wrong ;(
I've spent on this 4 days and still nothing.
I've read about installing native mysql driver, I've even patch it as it says but there are still problems with connection/writing to database.
What's working for me:
- pure ejabberd with mensia database
- external auth with perl script (modificaton of this one http://www.ejabberd.im/check_mysql_perl)
What I'd like to add:
- mod_logdb
- jorge (or some alternative frontend if there is any)
- roster, presens and others stored in mysql database.
I've tried with erlang 14.2.3 and 13.2.4 with "java odbc smp ssl" use flags.
I will be grateful for any clues, howtos and others.
If any additional info is needed I'll provide it.
