I am looking to deploy 2-5 million concurrent connections using an EJABBERD cluster. Our load tests are looking good but we are now searching for a firewall solution that can handle the high number of permanent concurrent XMPP connections.
Are there any recommendations for *cost effective* firewalls that don't need to handle a lot of bandwidth (just TCP_KEEPALIVES) but do need to support a massive number of TCP sessions?
