I am trying to install two ejabberd instances on the same hardware. Different users, different IP addresses, different install directory, different mnesia directory, different ports, just same box. I can start one process or the other, but I cannot have both running at the same time.
When running one instance as one user, I start the other instance as the other user and get the following output:

Crash dump was written to: /home/coco/ecs/ejabberd-2.1.8/logs/erl_crash_20120319-141831.dump
Kernel pid terminated (application_controller) ({application_start_failure,kernel,{shutdown,{kernel,start,[normal,[]]}}})
Is there any configuration change I can make to get this to work?
