Hi,
Currently we are having the Ejabberd Version With 1.0.1.Today we upgraded Ejabberd into Version 2.1.9 with below steps and it's working fine.Please confirm these steps are correct.
1.Done with Backup of "Spool" Directory from OLD Server.
2.Removed the OLD version and installed Ejabberd 2.1.9.
3.Then Changed the ERLANG_NODE=SERVER-NAME(By removing localhost) in ejabberdctl file
4.Removed files from the path "C:\Program Files\ejabberd-2.1.9\database\ejabberd@SERRVERNAME" and copied Backuped Spool directory files into this folder.
5.Now start the server.
Now i can able to login with server with no issues.Also i get all of my registered users.
Q1.Please confirm ...we can go with above steps
Q2.Above method will remove any features of Ejabberd version 2.1.9
