Sorry my bad english. I'm run ejabberd 15.07 as service on Windows Server 2008 R2. Looks like all works fine, but on startup in error.log written follow error:

and in ejabberd.log:
[error] <0.63.0>@lager_handler_watcher:108 Lager fatally failed to install handler lager_console_backend into lager_event, NOT retrying: old_shell
[warning] <0.58.0>@lager_console_backend:66 Lager's console backend is incompatible with the 'old' shell, not enabling it
What does it mean and to what extent it critical?
It is not critical. Erlang
It is not critical. Erlang shell in Windows is old and lager error logger cannot use it to display error message. That's all. You are not supposed to run ejabberd with shell attached anyway, so it should not be an issue.
