unable to connect PSI client to ejabberd server running on linux.

Hi,

I wanted to try ejabberd and thus downloaded and installed ejabberd server.
I also downloaded a PSI client and then configured all the details.
I am a very beginner and unable to connect my PSI client to the server.

I have read that register is one way but if I do register it pops me an errors that register is not a valid command and there are only 5 commands that are valid and register is not one among them.

Blocked from a couple of hours. ! thanks!
