I am trying to find the answer for what's the maximum number of users to join a single MUC room? And what's the maximum number of MUC rooms can be created in ejabberd server?
I am using the ejabberd as the IM server and enable the MUC for all members. But not sure is there a maximum number of users to join the same muc room?

There isn't a fixed limit. It depends on the machine capabilities.
On the other hand, it's preferable to have many rooms with few ocupants, than few rooms with many occupants. Because many occupants (hundreds) chatting a lot in one room will produce a lot of CPU consumption.
