I am using ejabberd 1.1.1.. I am having issues with adding the user into the roster of the user himself. i.e. User A is unable to add himself as a buddy into his roster. I tried it out with Exodus, but exodus does not allow in the client end itself.. Spark shows the user in the roster but I am not sure about its subscription type.
It would be of grt help if anybody could help me out on this issue...

Probably not an answer to your question, but why do you want to add A to his own roster? Doesn't adding suits your needs?
