my windows vps has very liberal restrictions and 340 of ram... i installed ejabberd on a computer at my house with similar hardware and it installed just fine, however when i try on my vps it locks up at the very end of the installation process.... any help would be very appreciated (this is going to be used for an organization) thank you...

Maybe a workaround: install ejabberd at home with the settings you want at work. Then copy the ejabberd directory to your Windows installation at work (don't forget the shortcuts).
