Hi,
with jabberd-2.0.11, with the proper roster.xml, one could specify the full name of users so when displayed on one's computer Contact List, they'd see "David Lebel" instead of 'lebel@jabber.company.com'.
Is it possible to achieve a similar result with ejabberd?
I'm using mod_shared_roster and it works just fine so users have all the people in the corporation in their contact list by default, but they don't see "First Last" name... and it can confuse them.
Any suggestions?

Try this patch
I've written that checks users' vcards. If the Full Name or Nickname are specified for a contact, that one is provided instead of the JID.
