Hi, we have installed Ejabberd on a Ubuntu server and are using Pidgin as a client, we set up shared roster groups and created all users and installed pidgin on the client machines and logged them in and everything was fine yesterday but today everyone is being disconnected and connected randomly.
We have this in the log - =INFO REPORT==== 2013-05-30 10:55:12 ===
I(<0.28258.0>:ejabberd_c2s:631) : ({socket_state,tls,{tlssock,#Port<0.4902>,#Port<0.4904>},<0.28257.0>}) Accepted authentication for USER by ejabberd_auth_internal
and this - =INFO REPORT==== 2013-05-30 10:55:12 ===
I(<0.28258.0>:ejabberd_c2s:802) : ({socket_state,tls,{tlssock,#Port<0.4902>,#Port<0.4904>},<0.28257.0>}) Failed authentication for USER
Almost for everyone. We looked on the web admin page and noticed that there was huge amounts of offline messages so we have disabled that feature. But not sure what was causing the offline messages over night, almost everyone had them into the 00's of messages.
We are using it with the Mnesia database.
Any ideas?
I am logged in as a user in
I am logged in as a user in the same room as the server and am not being affected but our users are all remote and are having issues. They are getting the following error on their pidgin client - disconnected
Lost connection with server: Remote host closed connection
Is that a Ejabberd issue with it disconnecting the user? If so what is causing it?
