ejabberd 1.1.2 on Solaris 9 (Sparc)

I'm trying to install ejabberd1.1.2 on solaris 9 (sparc). I had erlang 10B compiled and erlang is
running fine. But I can't compile ejabberd. While configuring ejabberd the scripts shows
openssl/ssl.h ....usability no and presence no.... but the file is in the right place. here is how
I ran ./configure

./configure --with-erlang=/u/maruf/erlang --with-openssl=/usr/local/ssl --prefix=/u/maruf/ejabberd

any idea?
