hi all,
im a novice running ejabbered on xubuntu.its working fine on my localhost.bt when im trying to connect to external servers like gmail.com i get the message server not found and i can't even connect to jabber.org.
this is the message i get on the terminal when trying to subscribe to a gmail user

What does "ping
What does "ping localhost.bt" says on your server? What IP do you see?

You can't use "localhost"
You can't use "localhost" as the server name if you want to connect to external servers. Change the
hostsdirective to the DNS name of your server.
