I have working jabberd1+jit configuration.
Now I tried to setup instalation of ejabberd + any icq transport.
I have no problem with setup of ejabberd, but can't make icq transport work as I want. I have tried jit and pyicq.
1. What I do with jit. In two words: I now that in the case of ejabberd I have to make JIT load to use it's own xdb , and I did it. My best :) result with jit was working icq transport but I coudn't make it to get ICQ contacts in roster. I keep all my jabber accounts in LDAP. I need contacts to be fetched automaticaly.
2.In the case of pyicq: transport is working out of the box ,but instead of contact list I see list of ICQ uins. I have read that not all clients cat automaticaly convert ICQ UINs.
As a result I have inoperative construction.
Please help with that.

AFAIR, you should use the
AFAIR, you should use the compilation option --enable-roster-gateway-workaround (Turn on workaround for processing gateway subscriptions (default: no)). But remember that your server will be not anymore XMPP compliant. btw: why don't you just use PyICQ-t?
