Can not connected ejabberd with mysql

I have some problem with my ejabberd.

acctually on installation i was success with ejabberd default use mnsia database.

now,i want to my ejabberd use mysql database.

my step was did do :
1. I was created database "ejabberd" on mysql server and extract sql schema.

2. But my ejabberd can not connect with mysql server and still use Mnsia database like default.
3. OS -> windows XP SP 2

my ask :

a. how to configure ejabberd and mysql database?

help me, please.
