Server won't work with Bombus J2ME Client

I've installed ejabbered server on my Apple MacBook to study Jabber protocol in mobile device. The server is running and I can create account, log-in and chat with a local Adium client (it's like Gaim for Linux/Windows).

When I use Bombus in "Java Wireless Toolkit" Simulator the Bombus client can create a new account but it can't log!!! I've tried a lot of options both in Bombus and eJabbered server but at the end Bombus always say me: "Unexpected end of the XML Stream" when I try to log-in with the previous created account.

The strange thing is that Bombus works fine if I try to connect to jabber.org server with my personal account (both from Java Wireless Simulator and also from my Nokia 6680).

I think that I must configure the eJabbered server to make it works with Bombus but I don't know how.

Can you help me?

Thank you,
ReX

Try with Bombus to create an

Try with Bombus to create an account and login on any other ejabberd server, like jabberes.org, which runs the stock and typical ejabberd 1.1.2.

If Bombus works with other ejabberd servers, but not with yours, then the problem is on your ejabberd installation. Check ejabberd log files, they may report error messages.

If it doesn't work with other ejabberd servers, then it's a problem on Bombus.

Now it works fine!!!

Thank you for your reply, badlop.

For some days I cound't use the MacBook, but today, after computer restart Bombus started working with my eJabberd Server. I have changed nothing, but now it works, I don't know why!

The only thing I don't like is that I can't see the resource priority with eJabberd Web Interface.

Thanks,
ReX
