Greetings,
I am using ejabberd to set up an internal messaging system. I had a problem with the "read error" and back up a version to 1.1.2 as suggested in other posts. Now users can log on fine.
I am wonder though (and have looked through the documentation and found nothing) is there a way to keep a public list of users so that I don't have to go to every workstation and add each user individually?
HELP
Thanks
Benjamin
Well it turns out there is
Well it turns out there is just the thing I was looking for. It's called a shared roster and it's in the ejabberd.conf file commented out (mod_shared_roster)
One enabled and ejabberd is restarted, there is a web interface to add users to a group and then make that group visable (page 47 in the user's guide explains this)
Thanks anyway
