trillian client

hello

i ve configured ejabberd ok, and connected to it a exodus client, but this is a bit poor client.

in http://www.jabber.org/software/clients.shtml shows that trillian can be a client of jabber, but in no one place of trillian site nor ejabberd site is documentation about it.

can someone help me.

Bad news: Trillian Basic does not include Jabber support

Cerulean Studios sells three different versions:

  • Trillian Basic - cost: 0$; does not include Jabber support.
  • Trillian Pro Trial - cost: 0$; only usable for 15 days. Includes Jabber support.
  • Trillian Pro - cost: 25$ per user. Includes Jabber support.

You have several options:

  • Use Free and Open Source clients like Exodus, Psi, Pandion or any other, even if they lack features you consider essential.
  • Buy one or several licenses to Cerulean for their Trillian Pro, and pay additional money every year to get new versions with new features.
  • Offer a quantity of money to anyone that implements the features you want on a Free client. This way you get your features and the usual unlimited updates to the client.

To avoid confusion, the clients page at jabber.org has been updated indicating that only Trillian Pro includes Jabber support.

Check those threads on the Trillian official forums:

no problem for the bucks with a trial

thanks for the advice about the 25 bucks

the reason i tried to change from exodus to trillian was because
with exodus every contact a create has the state (pending) rigth next him. can you tell me what i am doing bad in exodus or what ejabberd setting have i wrong?
