We tried iChat with our ejabberd server. Everything goes ok but one thing - the warning that "the password is sent insecurely". Is there any way to configure ejabber, to avoid this message when this options in iChat is uncheacked? How to solve this problem?

I can't try iChat, but this message is probably shown because the authentication is done in plaintext. If you enable STARTTLS encryption (and SASL authentication) in ejabberd, I guess iChat will use it to login securely.
