JWChat doesn't seem to work very well, and http-poll issue

Hello,

I have rolled back to ejabberd 2.0.0 in order to use jwchat. However, the jwchat doesn't work very well and seems to fail to connect to my jabber server. I can connect to the jabber server fine with a client, but when i test out http-poll I get a parsing error? I have tried to read through all the tutorials, post, etc. Does anyone have any links or advice to help?

Did you rollback due to the mod_http_fileserver problem in binary installers? If so, check this comment.

I tried 2.0.0.1 and 2.0 but

I tried 2.0.0.1 and 2.0 but I don't think http-poll worked either time. I would go to www.mysite.com:5280/http-poll/ and I would get some sort of parsing error. I can't find out why it is doing that. I'm assuming that is why jwchat is not working as expected.

Any suggestions?

use a client

Yes, you cannot load the URL with a web browser.
You need to use an HTTP poll compliant XMPP client.
