Call to translators for ejabberd 2.0.2

ejabberd 2.0.2 is planned to release soon. It will contain mostly bugfixes. A few of the changes since the previous version added new strings that can be translated to the 23 languages people have translated ejabberd. I tried to contact previous translators, but there are still some languages that need to be updated.

Those languages are complete thanks to those translators:

ca.msg 0 Catalan (català) Vicent Alberola Canet
cs.msg 0 Czech (čeština) Lukáš Polívka
de.msg 0 German (deutsch) Nikolaus Polak
eo.msg 0 Esperanto Andreas van Cranenburgh
es.msg 0 Spanish (castellano) Badlop
fr.msg 0 French (française) Christophe Romain
it.msg 0 Italian (italiano) Luca Brivio
ja.msg 0 Japanese (日本語) Tsukasa Hamano
nl.msg 0 Dutch (nederlands) Andreas van Cranenburgh
no.msg 0 Norwegian (bokmål) Stian B. Barmen

ru.msg 0 Russian (русский) Evgeniy Khramtsov
sk.msg 0 Slovak (slovenčina) Marek Becka

tr.msg 0 Turkish (türkçe) Doruk Fisek
uk.msg 0 Ukrainian (українська) Ruslan Rakhmanin
wa.msg 0 Walon (Walloon) Pablo Saratxaga
zh.msg 0 Chinese (中文) Shelley Shyan, Zhan Caibao

I couldn't contact translators for those languages:

gl.msg 6 Galician (galego) Carlos E. Lopez - suso AT jabber-hispano.org
pt.msg 193 Portuguese (português) Iceburn
th.msg 15 Thai (ภาษาไทย) EQHO Communications (Thailand) Ltd. - http://www.eqho.com
vi.msg 15 Vietnamese (tiếng việt) EQHO Communications (Thailand) Ltd. - http://www.eqho.com

Some languages miss 6 strings, or 15. However Portuguese has not been updated in many months, to it misses a lot of translations.

If you can help to update any of those translations, here I describe the basic steps. If you have any doubt, please add a comment.

  1. Download ejabberd-2.0.2-translations.zip
  2. Open the file with the language you can translate.
  3. To know which lines need to be translated, check: How to Translate
  4. Once you have translated all the lines (or many of them), you can publish your work in many ways:
    • Put the lines in a comment here
    • Publish in your page and add a comment here with the link
    • Send an email to the ejabberd mailing list
    • Join the ejabberd chatroom and we will chat
    • Put your translations in a page like http://paste.jabbim.cz/ and report the URL in a comment here or in the chatroom

I will update this page with any news about finished translations.
