Hello,
continuing on from the last post (http://www.ejabberd.im/node/3172),
I built OTP R11-B5, that had an awful lot of warnings.
Then I installed ejabberd 2.0.1 (binary installer from process one).
After configuring to use mod_file_server and mod_http_bind, ejabberd did not start up.
A dump file was created, I can post a link if you want. The first line was:
Kernel pid terminated (application_controller) ({application_start_failure,kernel,{shutdown,{kernel,start,[normal,[]]}}})
I then uninstalled 2.0.1, and built 2.0.0. Again there were some warnings.
I was able to start the server, but after configuring to use mod_file_server and mod_http_bind,
again the same crash occured. I noticed this in the console:
"Protocol: ~p: register error: ~p~n",["inet_tcp",{{badmatch,{error,duplicate_name}},
(...)
Any ideas what I could try to remedy this?
