How can i effectively 'purge' the content of the spool dir? I am running v1 on win2k3 and am basically running out of space on the install drive due to the continuous addition of .xxx (eg 273 file) files from what seem to be random days in the last 6months. I jhave tried removing them but ejabberd seems to object and not start so they been re-instated allowing ejabberd to start ok. Is theer a way to remove these files?

In what dir, file names, what ejabberd version.
Oh, strange problem. In what directory are those files created? Do you mean 273 (or more) files are created? What are their names?
