Adding new hostnames without restarting the server?

Is it possible to add new hosts without restarting the server?

I've read on this forum about being able to change files on the fly, and testing configuration without restarting ejabberd, but I havn't been able myself to find a way to add a new domain without restarting the server. Can this be done?
