cannot connect to server

Hallo !

This is my configuration:

I tried to start the server on Debian Etch with /etc/init.d/ejabberd start

but all clients say, that I cannot connect to it.

What's wrong here again ?

I changed the hostname in /etc/hostname .. could that be the problem ?

I also cannot join the conference at conference.jabber.ru. There seems to be something wrong with the chatroom.
