Improving BOSH settings and Performance

Hello,

We (http://superfeedr.com) make a massive usage of BOSH and I'm looking for ways to improve performance, both on the server side and the client side. Any pointers?

Some clients make up at 10 queries/sec... I am not sure what kind of settings they should use for their queries, in terms of "wait", "hold", "window"... as well as the session settings : "inactivity", "polling", "request"... etc.

To be fair, I have a hard time even understanding these options :/

For the server side, ejabberd 2.1.0 has improvements in the BOSH performance compared to ejabberd 2.0.5. But of course that is only a small part of your task: you should also try to improve the client side.

For the client side, or more general server discussion, you beter ask in a XMPP mailing list like BOSH@xmpp.org, or jdev, or jadmin.
