Hello,
I've problems understanding the meaning of a "node" in ejabberd. Is a node a complete different instance of the server, listing on other ports? Is it just another DB instance? Can two node listen on the same ports but providing different vhosts? I've found no explanation in the docs, if someone could point me to one...
Thanks,
Florian
See Wikipedia. So in short:
SeeWikipedia . So in short: it is an instance of ejabberd. You need at least one node, but you can have much more in case you are clustering ejabberd.
