Hello, and I regret starting a topic that has been started before. The reason I do so anyways is that Peter Saint-Andre just started a mailing list with all jabber server admins as contributors. Here the first topic was securing the jabber network, certs and encrypted S2S. With both Jabberd versions having this support the only large free server not to support this is ejabberd.
Please see these links:
Is seems that most want to use certs from CAcert and trust this as the autority. This will come in time, but for the next release ejabberd should seriously consider implementing S2S crypt support now that there is a movement towards implementing a trusted jabber server network. Google is also heading in this direction I feel.
Urging a second thought about this feature for ejabberd 1.0 :)
Best regards

S2S encryption is available on SVN. It's currently being tested with other implementations.
