Hello All
I'm trying to install ejabberd-0.9.8 on a FreeBSD 5.4 box. I've done the port install and ssl cert via the docs, but every time I try to create my user via the ejabberd.cfg command I get the following:
Crash dump was written to: erl_crash.dump
Kernel pid terminated (application_controller) (shutdown)
Any Suggestions? thanks in advance!

Do you mean ejabberd_ctl? Probably something is not properly configured on the installation.
But anyway, you can create users the usual way: with a Jabber client.
And if you have at least one user, you can give him admin rights on ejabberd.cfg, login to the webadmin and create more users there.
