Ejabberd project

Hi,
My name is Luis and Im from Mexico so i apologize in advance for my english...

So far... after playing with openfire(easy jabber server) and recently i've been playing with ejabberd and damn is hard in a way that there is many configuration options that can be achive via text mode (Psi client helps me alot! when managing the ejabberd server, together with the web admin interface)
Im still wondering if i can install ejabberd using the installer in a non GUI linux server...

Ok, straight to the point...

What I want to do is setup an IM platform for corporate where I can provide the infrastructure to clients (sale IM accounts to them) so for example company1.com wants to buy some accounts from me, what i want to do is to setup accounts using company1.com domain and block them to add contacts from another domain and avoid contacst from one domain talk to other contacts from another domain, I saw a module called mod_filter that it can do what i want right? still im little confuse how to use it the way im explaining above. It is possible to achive what i explained? Can i client provide me with their domain so i can seting up in the server? or its better to use a sub-domain ( in case they use their primary domain for their website)
Im interested to know how hard is to tune the server, i want to avoid as much as possible to touch erlang code :S.

Thank you

P.S: ejabberd rocks! very obscure (not impossible) to use but very powerful server.
