Hello!
Ok so I have an eJabberd 2.1.8 server running, on a debian squeeze machine.
I installed it via the setup package from this website (that is, not via apt-get like I normally would).

Do I just download the new setup package and run it?
Will it overwrite my settings?
Which files should I make a backup of?
Thanks in advance for any reply :-)
And I would like to say sorry, if this question has been answered before, but I did search and couldn't really come up with anything (which is strange I thought, since this question should have come up more I think, or maybe I'm just missing something ;-) ).
Oh well, cheers!

I managed to find the solution myself.
When I uninstalled using the uninstall binary in the ejabberd folder, it created a backup of my conf folder.
Then I just installed the new version and used the backup that has been created.
